
Cleish Village Hall
At the centre of Cleish Village, the hall is available for hire to groups, charities, clubs, classes and individuals. There are no permanent staff and all hirings are on a self-help basis and hirers are are required to leave the hall clean and in a state in which they found it. The building includes two halls , a main hall and a smaller hall/break out room, kitchen and toilets (Ladies and gentleman ). There is disabled access via a ramp at the rear of the building

Main hall
The main hall is 11.5m x 7.7m. The maximum capacity is 100 persons, 80 seated or 100 standing/party with no chairs. One wall of the hall is white and suitable for projections. A projector (connected to own computer) and sound system may also be hired.

Meeting room
The meeting room can be used in conjunction with the main hall by opening the large folding doors. It can also be used a smaller more intimate room providing space for 16 round tables or 20 in theatre style.

Kitchen
The kitchen comes with use of crockery and cutlery , glasses and limited cooking utensils, an urn, stove and fridge. Basic cleaning materials are available but users are asked to bring (and take away) their own tea towels. Table cloths are available
- A store of approximately 80 chairs and a selection of folding tables.
- Stage units (approx 60cm high) are also available .
- All furniture etc must be returned to the store on completion of the hire.
- There are also cloakroom facilities in the ladies’ and gentlemen’s toilets, also a baby changing mat, and disabled access.
There is on road parking outside the hall and a small village car park (free) about 100m away. A small garden is accessed from the rear of the building. Access to the Cleish field is via the Millenium walk way which starts adjacent to the hall.

How do I gain access to the hall

Can I sell alcohol?
The hall does not have a license to sell alcohol. Alcohol can be served in the hall but hirers will be required to obtain their own license to sell alcohol.
Is there Wi-Fi in the hall?
Wifi is available throughout the hall and the password is located on the wall at the rear of the hall
Is audio-visual equipment available?
Audio-visual equipment is available to hire for an additional fee. Please indicate your requirements on the booking form.
Can I hire a bouncy castle?
The hall’s public liability license does not cover the use of bouncy castles. Cover will be required via the rental company.
How will I be billed for hire of the hall?
You will receive an invoice at the end of the month in which your hire takes place. This will be sent to the email that you used to book the hall , and will provide information on how to pay.
